I’m an educator based in Denver, Colorado. Currently I teach 6th grade social studies at Morey Middle School, the only highly gifted and talented magnet School in Denver Public Schools.

I’m passionate about teaching and learning and figuring out what helps kids and adults discover their interests, intelligence, and talents. I strive to help others reach those “aha” moments where everything they’ve been learning suddenly clicks into place. In my experience, the best way to get to these moments is through hands-on, project based learning that is applicable to our lives and our world.

In my free time I enjoy reading, music, sourdough baking, and being outdoors hiking with my wife and dog.
